Electric Vehicle Charging Points

We take our sustainability objectives seriously here at Maryborough Hotel, and we're proud to announce that we now have four designated Electric Vehicle charging spaces available for our guests. These spaces are conveniently located just outside our lower hotel conference & leisure entrance carpark, to the left of the hotel's main entrance.

To use these charging stations, all you need to do is become a member of the Rolec EV network. You can easily download the Vendelectric app from the AppStore or Google Play or scan the QR code on the EV charging unit and download the app and register once you arrive. Our hotel operates two Twin 22kw charge points, providing guests with four standard AC chargers that can provide charge up to 22KW depending on car type, all with type 2 sockets. Please note that we don't provide charging cables for vehicles.

We want to make sure your experience with our Electric Vehicle charging stations is as seamless as possible. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you get started.

Plug in - Approach the lit-up charging sockets and connect your EV charging cable to the Charge Point, then to your vehicle.

Activate - Look for the label above your socket for details on how to activate the charging station. If you haven't already downloaded the Vendelectric App, you can do so before your arrival to make the process even smoother. Simply search for Vendelectric in the App Store or Google Play, or scan the QR code on the charging unit once you arrive. You will be prompted to register and scan the charging unit to start the charging process.

Charge - Once your vehicle is connected and charging, feel free to enjoy your stay with us! When you're ready to move on, unplug from your vehicle first to allow the cable lock to release.

We understand that the charging process can be a new experience for some, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. To make your experience more convenient, we recommend downloading and registering to the Vendelectric app before your arrival. This way, you can simply scan the charging unit's QR code once you arrive. However, if you're a first-time user to Rolec EV Vendelectric App, please note that you will be prompted to download and register the app once you scan the QR code on the charging unit. If you encounter any issues with the charging process, our hotel team is always here to help. For any technical issues with the App or charging points, please report them
