Palmento offers Authentic Neapolitan Sourdough Pizza. The Tavolieri family has been running pizzerias in Cork city for over 30 years. Elio grew up in one of his father’s pizzerias on the Grand Parade and subsequently opened the immensely popular La Tana with his brother Antonio on Barrack Street. However, it was after training with the master pizzaiolos in Naples that Elio wanted to bring the traditional Neapolitan style pizza back to Cork and opened Palmento in the heart of Douglas Village. Palmento fuses authentic Italian wood-fired pizzas with fresh Irish ingredients to create a unique offering of classic and gourmet pizzas.
