Claire, you made us feel so at ease, and your attention to detail was simply outstanding. Our night was perfect because of you! To Vicky, our amazing top table waitress – you were an absolute gem! Your kindness, professionalism, and warm presence meant so much to us. You looked after us so well, and we are forever grateful for your care and attention. And, of course, we must give a massive thank you to our wedding planners, Eilis and Mary. From start to finish, you guided us through every step of the process with such warmth and expertise. Your dedication and patience made everything feel effortless, and we couldn't have done it without you. Being able to hold our entire wedding event under the one roof made for a very intimate and fun filled day. We want to congratulate the Maryborough team, for their professionalism and commitment to excellence! The attention to detail was superb, the enthusiasm and consideration to the bridal party was outstanding. Claire, Johannes were unbelievable in their roles. It’s rare to see employees that do that little extra for customers. When our post box was tardy in delivery, Johannes offered to craft one for us… Claire directed her staff with quiet organisation, being many steps ahead of our needs.
The food, oh my… our guests were absolutely overwhelmed by the quality and quantity… the soup and baked Alaska were the rockstars of the meal. We are still hearing accolades from our guests!

We had a fabulous time at the Maryborough right across the wedding weekend. The staff were fantastic and really looked after our guests as well as ourselves. The wedding day itself was a dream come true and even the rain added to the atmosphere of the ceremony in the orangery. Claire and Brian were looking after us in the ballroom at dinnertime and were exceptional in their organisation, working around the spontaneous chaos of our speeches and grand entrance and very helpful overall. Many of our guests paid their compliments on the food claiming it's the "best wedding dinner" they were ever served. We really appreciate all the work you have done yourself in getting the big day in order for us. 

Really can't thank you and your team enough and we can't wait to return for a stay soon.

We honestly had the best day ever as did all of our guests! Everything from start to finish was absolutely perfect. Every one of our guests complimented the food and the quality of food.

Ellis and all the staff were so wonderful to deal with. Each and every staff member was so friendly and willing to help. We felt we were in very safe hands and would absolutely recommend it as a venue for any occasion. Our guests all were raving about the food and service Behind the scenes we had a lot of communication and couldn't get over the flexibility offered to us, even down to what colour we wanted the lights to be! Just all round fabulous.

Ellis, the wedding coordinator, is the most fantastic person to have look after every fine detail of your wedding day. She went through packages, menu tasting, and the extras we wanted to include, and the day went so smoothly and perfectly—what a dream.
Claire and Brian looked after us on the day of the wedding, making sure we were all on time for the ceremony, pictures, and reception evening. They are lovely, friendly staff.
We have received so many compliments on what a fantastic day it was, and it was definitely down to a fantastic team and stunning venue.
Guests with dietary requirements also expressed gratitude for the variety and for not having the same basic meal they had in other places.

Better than perfect.
My now husband and I got engaged in the Maryborough, the staff on the night were so excited for us, they felt like friends and the hotel quickly became a special location for us.

A friend of ours asked if we were going to get married there too and recommended we meet Ellis, their amazing Wedding Coordinator, needless to say, Ellis could answer any question, provided supplier recommendations, help us outline the day from start to finish. We'd pop in for a coffee, lunch or a celebratory dinner.

In the midst of Covid, the hotel went above and beyond to help us reschedule and make sure we kept the planning magic and excitement. We stayed the night before the wedding and got separate rooms to be somewhat traditional! Getting ready in the hotel was so relaxing and it meant from the second we drove down the hill, we could enjoy the wedding build up. I had crept down the stairs of the main house to peep out a window to see my husband and his groomsmen getting ready on their balcony, the wedding photographers had given me a heads up, and they were there - it's a fantastic photo and memory now.

Our bridal party and families loved the hotel and my heart burst with happiness (and maybe nerves) when the doors to the Orangery opened and it was full of our friends and family.

The Orangery is like something that comes to life out of a fairy tale storybook, full of light, flowers, candles and honestly, the photos from there are all more beautiful than the last. The drinks reception was hosted there and the room carries music and laughter like you've never experienced.

The wedding meal was in the banquet room and the tone and setting changing to soft lights, chandeliers and fairy branches at the entrance is exquisite. Our guests raved about the food (and the wine), and, the staff on the floor, bar and entire hotel couldn't have been more helpful.

We danced the night away with our friends and families, I couldn't recommend the Maryborough highly enough, it is a dream venue.

We were married in March and everything was marvellous. Ellis was a dream to deal with and everything she promised was delivered by the team with elegance and effortless professionalism. The Orangery was gorgeous for our ceremony and perfect for dinner and dancing for our small wedding. The whole venue was photographed beautifully. Our guests remarked on the exquisite food & wine, the quality of the service from very friendly staff and also the character of the venue itself. The fitness centre and spa are 5-star with wonderful staff. We are so grateful to everyone for going over and above to make our wedding such a memorable celebration.
