Corkmas – A Cork Christmas Celebration

Cork City comes alive with Corkmas, the city's annual Christmas celebration. From mid-November through Christmas week, the city centre is filled with festive sights, sounds and activities, including the Corkmas Parade, Christmas markets, the Santa Experience, the iconic Ferris Wheel on Grand Parade and family entertainment.

The festive atmosphere makes Cork city centre a wonderful destination for an afternoon or evening of Christmas shopping, dining and seasonal fun. The full 2026 Corkmas programme will be announced closer to the festive season.

Cork On Ice at Marina Market

Get into the festive spirit with Cork On Ice, now located at the Marina Market. From 6 November 2026 to 17 January 2027, visitors can enjoy 45-minute skating sessions at Cork's new covered real-ice rink, surrounded by the festive atmosphere of the Marina Market.

Perfect for families, friends and visitors of all ages, it's an ideal addition to a Christmas day out in Cork.

Santa Experiences

Christmas wouldn't be complete without a visit to Santa, and Cork offers a number of festive experiences for families. The Corkmas Santa Experience returns to Emmet Place, giving children the opportunity to meet Santa and enjoy a magical Christmas experience in the heart of the city.

The Everyman Panto: Jack and the Beanstalk

A much-loved Cork Christmas tradition returns to The Everyman with Jack and the Beanstalk, running from 3 December 2026 to 10 January 2027.
