Download our app on the app store before your stay with us for all hotel information. Type 'Maryborough Hotel' into the search bar, search and download.
Check in is from 3pm and check out is by 12 noon the latest. Please contact reception on 021-4365555 if you would like to request a late check out. This is subject to availability and a fee will apply.
Your room is guaranteed for arrival from 3pm. An earlier check-in time may be arranged if available free of charge. If you have planned to arrive earlier to the hotel, our reception and concierge we would be delighted to arrange storage of your luggage, whilst you take the time to explore what the hotel has to offer.

Check out is 12pm but if you wish to have a late check out, we can accomodate this if it is available at a charge of €20 per hour after 1pm.
We have a selection of rooms to choose from for your stay with us:

· The Deluxe room is our standard room

· Our Executive rooms boast a balcony or patio

· Our Spa Jacuzzi rooms have a double jacuzzi

· Junior and Master Suites are situated in the old house and boast a Georgian style décor

· Our interconnecting rooms are all deluxe and can be booked at a supplement for larger families or bigger groups.
Family rooms consist of 1 king size bed as well as 1 double sofa bed which is suitable for 2 children under 12. To upgrade to an interconnecting room for larger families, there is a supplement charge of €120 per night.
Our children’s activities are available throughout the summer and Easter time. We offer mini golf, table tennis and badminton. These are subject to change.
We are a 15-20-minute drive to Fota depending on traffic.
We can take requests for dining in the gardens but this is subject to availability and is weather dependent.
Yes, we have wheelchair accessible rooms and bathrooms. We have disabled parking on the lower ground with a lift to the main hotel. We also have wheelchair accessible changing rooms in our leisure club.

If you book directly on our website, you can cancel free of charge 24 hours before arrival time. If you book on a third-party website such as booking.com you must cancel 48 hours in advance. We cannot cancel your booking if you have booked through a third party.

1. What time can children use the pool?
Children can use the pool anytime throughout the day:
Monday to Friday: 6am to 9.30pm
Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays: 8am to 9pm

2. Are the thermal suites segregated or together?
We have a female thermal suite and a couples/ unisex thermal suite.

3. What age must you be to come to the spa?
You must be 18 years + to use the spa and thermal suites.

4. What age must you be to use the gym in the leisure club?
You must be 18 years + to use the gym.

Our vouchers never expire and can be used anywhere throughout the hotel. Even if you have been given a voucher specifically for the spa for example, this voucher can be used elsewhere in the hotel as well.

1. Do you have free car parking?
Yes, we have 300 car spaces on site free of charge.

2. Do you have WIFI?

Yes, we have free WIFI throughout the hotel.

3. Do you have an electric car charging station?

Yes, and this is free to use.

1. Do you cater for celebrations and / or functions?
Yes, we can cater for events up to 300 people. For further details, please contact our sales office on 021- 4918309.

2. How do I make a group reservation?
The best way to make a group booking is to contact our reservations team on 021-4365555 and they will be happy to assist you with any queries you might have.
Yes, we have a lost property and if anything is found, we store this for up to 6 months with details of when and where it was found.
All room are non -smoking.
Pets are not allowed at The Maryborough except for assistance dogs.

Yes, allergens are displayed on all menus including breakfast, lunch, dinner, function, and wedding menus.

You can get the PressReader app on any mobile device using any major operating system, including iOS, Android, Windows, Amazon, Blackberry, and Mac. PressReader’s web platform is always available on laptops and other computers connected to the hotel’s WiFi.

Which app stores carry PressReader?

You’ll find PressReader in the Apple App Store, Google Play, Windows Store, Amazon, and Blackberry World.

I’ve opened the PressReader app, but the content appears to be locked. How do I unlock the issues I want to read?

When you first open the PressReader app, you should see a welcome message from the hotel you’re staying at.I If not, you may not have connected successfully.

• If you’re trying to connect through the WiFi network and you see padlock icons on a publication, check the coffee cup icon at the bottom right corner of your screen. It should be green. If it isn’t, you might need to reconnect to the lounge WiFi. Visit the concierge desk if that doesn’t resolve the issue.

How do I download newspapers and magazines to read offline?

Once you’ve activated your free access period and you see a welcome screen from the hotel you’re staying at, you’re ready to start downloading. Close the welcome screen, then tap on Publications to view the PressReader catalogue. Here, you can search for your favourite titles sort the list by category or language. Tap the download symbol to save a publication If you want to see all of the publications you’ve downloaded, just tap Downloaded at the bottom of your screen.

How many issues can I download?

As many as you’d like.

How long can I keep the issues I download?

You can keep any issueon your device for as long as you’d like.

Can I download complete publications?

Yes. Full issues of your favourite magazines and newspapers are available on PressReader. You can read them in the original printed layout or in a text-view mode designed for easy reading on a mobile device.

Which titles are available on PressReader?

Thousands of titles from all over the world are on PressReader. Use the app to browse the catalogue.

I’m looking for a specific newspaper or magazine, but I can’t find it on PressReader. Can I request it?

Yes. If there’s something you’d like to see on PressReader that’s not there, send an email to the support team at care@pressreader.com. We’re adding new titles every day and they’re always eager to connect with readers like you. So, get in touch with your favourite newspaper or magazine as well and let them know you’d like to see them on PressReader.

Why is the PressReader app asking me to pay for a title I want to download?

If you are prompted to pay for a title, you might not have connected successfully.

• If you’re trying to connect through the hotel’s WiFi network and you’re asked to pay for a download, check the coffee cup icon at the bottom right corner of your screen. It should be green. If it isn’t, you might need to reconnect to the lounge WiFi. Visit the concierge desk if that doesn’t resolve the issue.
