This Summer, discover a wonderful range of family friendly activities throughout our beautiful grounds. Set within 18 acres of historic gardens and woodland, our estate provides the perfect setting for children to explore, play, and create magical memories while parents relax and unwind.

Whether you're searching for fairies, enjoying outdoor games, relaxing in the Zen Garden, or making a splash in the pool, there's something for every member of the family to enjoy.

The Fairy Trail

Follow the signs and explore our enchanting Fairy Trail, winding through the wooded area at the rear of the gardens. Along the way, keep an eye out for magical fairy doors, hidden fairy homes, and woodland surprises.

Can you discover the hidden Fairy Cottage nestled amongst the trees at the end of the trail?

A favourite with younger guests, the Fairy Trail encourages imagination, adventure, and a little bit of magic.

PICNIC AREA

Enjoy a family picnic in our dedicated picnic area, located near the Fairy Garden and accessed via the woodland pathway.

Picnic menus, order forms, and picnic blankets are available through Reception. Please allow 24 hours' notice for picnic orders.

Zen Garden

Escape to our peaceful Zen Garden, an oasis of calm and tranquillity located opposite the hotel's main entrance.

Featuring a beautiful fountain and serene surroundings, it is the perfect place to relax, read, or simply enjoy a quiet moment. Comfortable cushions are available from Reception for guests wishing to spend time in the garden to read and relax.

Outdoor Games & Family Fun

Make the most of our extensive grounds with a variety of outdoor activities available throughout your stay.

Soccer

Fancy a kickabout? Footballs are available from Reception for use on the soccer lawns located near the end of The Fairy Trail .

Croquet

Enjoy a traditional game of croquet with family and friends on the grounds. Croquet equipment is available from Reception.

Badminton & Swing Ball Tennis

Badminton and tennis can be enjoyed in the upper garden area, accessed by following the woodland path and directional signage. Rackets and equipment are available from Reception.

Leisure Club

Our Leisure Club is located on the lower ground floor and offers facilities for the whole family to enjoy.

Facilities include:

18 Metre Swimming Pool with Toddlers Pool
Sauna, Steam Room, Jacuzzi, State-of-the-art Technogym Gym (Over 16's Only)

Opening Hours:

Monday to Friday: 6.00am – 9.00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 8.00am – 9.00pm

Please note that swimming hats must be worn in the pool.

Indoor Play Area

For indoor entertainment, visit our dedicated Indoor Play Area, located in the Conference Centre on the lower ground floor.

Open daily from 10.00am – 8.00pm, the play area includes:

Family Friendy Videos on a big screen, Pool Table, Children's Library, Board Games, Toys, and Family Games

Create your own Fairy Door to take home or leave it for the Fairys to put in the Fairy Garden

Please Note, Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
