The SpitJack Rotisserie Brasserie was opened by husband-and-wife team, Richard and Laura, in 2017. The couple moved to Cork after working for years in high end hospitality. They wished to open a restaurant which served the highest quality local produce, expertly prepared, with exceptionally high service standards and the most beautiful dining spaces. After working in some of the world’s leading hotels the couple recognised the quality and high standard of Irish meat and wanted to focus their restaurant on this. After exploring several concepts, they discovered the wonders of Rotisserie Cooking and set off on a journey across Europe to learn more. The SpitJack is an award-winning restaurant and the first of its kind in Ireland. Predominantly meat focused The SpitJack also offers wonderful vegetarian menus and "free from" options.
Located on Washington Street The SpitJack opened in mid-2017 and has quickly become one of the best restaurants in Cork for Brunch, Lunch and Dinner. We recommend the SpitJack to hotel guests who are looking for somewhere to dine in Cork City. Brunch in particular is very popular, so we recommend pre-booking to guarantee yourself a quality dining experience. Our Reception Team will be happy to call hotel guests a taxi to the centre (10-15 minutes approximately) or there is also a bus which travels to the city centre in approximately 25-30 minutes.
