For Music Lovers: We suggest the World Renowned Cork Jazz Festival
October 26-30, 2023 | Macy Grey, Corienne Bailey Rae, Morcheeba, Matthew Halsall, and Grammy winner Kurt Elling are among the headliners set to perform at this year's Guinness Cork Jazz Festival, which takes place during the October bank holiday weekend. Celebrating its 45th anniversary with more ticketed shows than ever, an extended music trail through the city, and a stellar lineup of Irish and international musicians and emerging talent pushing the genre.
Pop-up activities, late-night parties, boat rides, collaborations, and brass bands parading through the city streets make it one of Ireland's most popular festivals.
On Thursday, October 26, R&B/soul singer and actress Macy Grey will headline at the Cork Opera House.
On Sunday, October 29, Grammy winner Corrine Bailey Rae will perform at the same location. Grammy winner Kurt Elling, known for his powerful swing and poetic insight, will perform at The Everyman Theatre on Friday, October 27. Over the weekend, the legendary family band Hypnotic Brass Ensemble will perform Hip Hop hits at the Cork Opera House.
And we are loving The Cork Jazz Boat that will return for five jazz trips and harbour concerts after its massive success last year.
