January 2009 - Maryborough Hotel are Fir...
At the recent Optimus Award, The Marybough Hotel & Spa they achieved the Top European Award under the EFQM programme in conjunction with the Failte Ireland Optimus programme. They are the first Hotel in Ireland to achieve this accolade. This just goes to reinforce the need for the industry to continually reinvest in their business. Speaking of the award and what it meant to his business Justin Mc Carthy GM said: “We chose the EFQM Model through the Optimus Framework as it recognises that there are many approaches to achieving sustainable excellence in all aspects of performance and it is the top framework in Europe to do so.”
