Alan Kelly

Alan is originally from Blackrock in Cork and has a wealth of leisure industry experience having formerly been the Facility Manager at Leisureworld Bishopstown. He was appointed to the dual role of Spa & Club Manager in January 2008.

As well as his extensive list of Leisure qualifications, Alan is Ireland’s highest ranked soccer referee. He regularly officiates in the Airtricity League of Ireland. He is the country’s highest ranked FIFA Referee having been appointed to the panel by FIFA in 2002 when at 26 years young, became the youngest ever recipient of that honour. He regularly officiates at Champions League, Europa League, World Cup and European Championship fixtures. He lists his career highs as refereeing the 2003 & 2009FAI Cup Finals, Genoa v Valencia (Europa League 2009) and Spain (World Cup Champions) v Argentina in Madrid 2009.

He lists his interests as being all things Sports related, Current Affairs, Cinema & TV and Reading Fictional Law Novels. Alan has run four Marathons over the past eighteen months and has targeted the San Francisco and New York Marathons in 2011

Gosia Olszewska

Gosia was born in Grudziadz, Poland. She has worked within the in the leisure industry for over 8 years, 5 of which have been here in Ireland.

It is safe to say that anyone interested in ‘Building a Body’ should definitely speak to Gosia. She has a passion for weights and resistance equipment and that is very evident in her Personal Training. Her life is based around the theory of health and wellbeing and she can assist and advice on issues related to Nutrition and Dietary Supplements. She is very goal orientated and has a reputation for being a hard task master with her clients.

Her interests are keeping fit and studying foreign languages.
Gosia has been with the Maryborough Club since July 2007.

Samuel Camurati

Samuel was born in Paris and is married with 2 children. He adds a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Maryborough Club. He has also studied at the well known ‘Creps’ college for top athletes in the French West Indies.

He was a Top Level Athlete and had been member of the prestigious (I.T.U) International Triathlon Union. He had previously been the Physical Fitness coach for the French West Indies Athletics and Jet skiing teams respectively.

Samuel is currently studying towards a M.B.A, through  the Open University in the UK. He lists his hobbies as being Alpinism, Trekking, Running, Cycling, Reading (Sports Science & Economy). He works out 3 times per week just to keep fit and occasionally enters some competition for fun.

Samuel has been with the Maryborough Club since September 2007

Francine Camurati

Francine was born in Pointe-a-Pitre, in Guadeloupe a French department (French West Indies) in the Caribbean.
She is married with 2 children. Francine has studied at the Creps College for top athletes in the French West Indies, where she met her husband Samuel and had their own company for more than 6 years, in the Fitness industry sector.

After much reflection, they decided to come and start a new life in Ireland. Why not!

She was in the Guadeloupe Aerobics team, and was also the Physical fitness coach for the French West Indies Jet sky team, and motocross athlete with Samuel Camurati.

Therefore if you want to have any fitness and weight program related to your sport, just ask...

Pastime: Keep fit, Body board, Art painting (oil), reading, loves jazz music, cooking French and Caribbean meals

SINEAD BRACKEN

Sinead who is originally from Arklow, Co. Wicklow moved to Cork in October ’08.

Sinead has worked in gyms for almost 10 years and carries a vast amount of knowledge regarding sport and sports injuries.
Sinead’s hobbies are surfing, mountain biking, orienteering, running, & open water swimming.

Sinead has participated in many triathlons both on and off road. Sinead is a member of the Bishopstown Orienteering Club and takes part most Sunday mornings in events/leagues run by the club. She is also a member of Cork Triathlon club. Sinead ran the Dublin City Marathon in October ’09.

Deborah Teahan

Debbie lives in Kinsale with husband Sean and little girl Erin. Debbie has been working in the Leisure Industry for 15 years. She has spent over six years in the Maryborough and has also Spent four years in Sydney, Australia and holds an Australian passport.
Main sports are Hockey and Karate and even played Rugby for one season for Highfield!

Debbie plays 1st division hockey, in Goals for Belvedere Hockey Club, and has capped 3 times for Munster in hockey. In her spare time Debbie likes to kayak around Kinsale!

Patrick Carroll

Patrick is a local who attended both St columbia primary school and Douglas Community secondary school before moving to the University of Limerick to undertake a Sport and Exercise Sciences Degree. During Patrick's studies he completed 3 months work experience with the Fidji Rugby Union as assistant strength and conditioningt coach.Patrick is currently involved with physical development of Munster's underage players.

Having previously played soccer with Douglas Hall and hurling with Douglas, Patrick now concentrates on Gaelic football where he is member of the Douglas senior squad.

Patricks other hobbies include travelling, music and surfing.
