The Maryborough Hotel & Spa is ideally located, less than 10 minutes from the airport, train station, city centre and most major business centres, yet in an oasis of calm and tranquil surroundings with 11 acres of listed gardens, the ideal facilities for a Cork conference hotel.
We are the first, and to date only, hotel in Ireland to achieve a level 5 accreditation from the European Foundation for Quality Management. With the senior management team in situ since the hotel opened in 1997, this experienced group of professionals have hosted numerous local, national and international conferences and events at one of the top Cork hotels.
With a mission statement and philosophy built around exceeding expectations and continuous improvement, The Maryborough has expanded to become a “one stop shop” with the on site facility for team building events such as fire walking, archery and laser tag, combined with the expertise of renowned national and international motivational speakers. The new Maryborough Dome allows the hotel to maximise use of the 300 year old listed gardens. This unique concept ensures that guests can enjoy the experience of an outdoor event all year round.
In order to enhance the experience of delegates, the hotel uses innovative & creative techniques to deliver a successful event, such as: mood lighting, uplifting ESPA scents, refreshing hot or cold towels, and unique to Maryborough ESPA mini ritual (stress relief during lunch break!). We also work continuously with nutritional and medical partnerships that allow us to provide healthy, nutritionally balanced food with a low Glycemic Index (GI), which help with, amongst other things, the dreaded “afternoon slump”.
